RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information

  • Receive and route all incoming telephone calls and schedule patient appointments

  • Accurately create/cancel/reschedule appointments, answer patient questions, enter, and review information in the electronic scheduling and records system

  • Facilitate and assist patient requests for access and information

  • Acquisition, retention, and organization of documentation

  • Ensures patient confidentiality is always protected, both audible and visual

SKILLS:

  • Strong background in customer service

  • Knowledge of medical terminology 

  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems

  • Excellent in English verbal and written communication
